Mr. Melvin Beh has worked in various industries including construction, logistics, sports and
entertainment, information technology and venture capital investment – including
investments in advance technology manufacturing / hotel / telecommunication / food and
beverage / property management and property investment, retailing, manufacturing,
consulting and outsourcing; and education industry.

He has more than 23 years of international industrial and practical experience in financial
reporting, management accounting, internal control and policies development, budgetary
control, project management, quality control management, financial analysis and modeling,
tax planning and operational management. In addition, he is experienced in strategic
management and strategies development with international exposure in International
Taxation, International Accounting Standards and General Acceptable Accounting Standards.
Melvin was the Chief Operating Officer, HICOM University College Sdn. Bhd., and Deputy
Vice Chancellor, Administration and Operation, DRB-HICOM University of Automotive
Malaysia. He was also the General Manager – Business Development & Operations for KDU
University College and Chief Executive for KDU College, Malaysia. During his stay in Hong
Kong, Melvin was the School Principle and the Head of Academic Affairs, the Thames College,
with Informatics Education (HK) Limited.

He is also an academic who has taught diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate business
courses accredited by Thames College, Informatics College (Singapore), YMCA (Hong Kong),
the University of Portsmouth (UK), the University of West London (UK), the University of
Southern Queensland (Australia), etc.

Melvin holds MBA, University of Birmingham, UK, and BA/BA (Hons) in Accounting, University
of Abertay Dundee, Scotland, UK. He is professional qualified as Fellowship of Certified
Management Accountants, the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia,
Membership of Institute of Public Accountants, Institute of Public Accountants, Australia, and
Certified Internal Control Professional, Internal Control Institute, United States of America.
